[2] This present petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs: “I. Issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or order/orders and/or direction/directions of like nature shall not be issued whereby directing the Respondents to release Rs. 2,50,000/-, the rest amount of gratuity with interest @ Rs.9% per annum from the date of due till the date of actual payment is made. II. Issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or order/orders and/or direction/directions of like nature shall not be issued whereby directing the Respondents to issue modified PPO considering the last basic pay on the date of retirement @ Rs. 92,400/- instead of Rs. 89,700/- and release arrear pensions with interest @ 9% thereon. III. Issue Rule upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or order/orders and/or direction/directions of like nature shall not be issued whereby quashing & cancelling the Letter No. Pen-2/PR.No. -278/2022-23/15668, dated, 20.03.2024, issued by the Senior Accounts Officer, O/o the AG (A&E), Tripura. (iv) Make the rules absolute. (v) Call for records. ...............” [3] It is seen from record that, the Sr. Accounts Officer, Office of the Principal Accountant General (A & E), i.e. the respondent No.4 communicated a letter dated 19.03.2024 to the Executive Engineer, Agartala Division No.-1, PWD (R& B), Agartala, West Tripura i.e. the respondent no.3 regarding the pension proposal case in respect of Sri Nandalal Majumder, petitioner herein and copy of the said communication was also addressed to the petitioner. But, till date, no response has been received by the petitioner from the side of respondents. [4] On perusal of record, it is also seen that the petition has made a representation on 05.08.2024 before the respondents ventilating his grievances, but, till date, no reply has been made from the concerned respondent(s), regarding his representation. Page 3 of 3 [5] In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the concerned official respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in the light of the aforesaid inter- departmental communication dated 19.03.2024 and the representation dated 05.08.2024 made by the petitioner. The decision taken in that regard, be communicated to the petitioner within a period of 3(three) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. [6] With the above observations and directions, the instant petition is hereby disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall also stand closed. T.
