Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present Writ Petition, the Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, has passed a speaking order dated 03.06.2025, rejecting the claim of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground. Mr. B. Sinha, learned counsel, submits that the copy of the said order was received by the petitioner recently. He, accordingly, submits that the petitioner be permitted to withdraw the present Writ Petition with liberty to challenge the said order dated 03.06.2025, by filing a fresh writ petition. Prayer is accepted. The Writ Petition accordingly, stands dismissed, with liberty, as prayed for.
