Heard learned counsel fro petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite parties 1 to 5 and 7 and Mr. Anurag Srivastava, learned counsel for opposite party no.6. 2. Petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:- "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties, specially oppostie party no.2 i.e. Consolidation Commissioner U.P. Lucknow to take appropriate action in the matter of the petitioner for verification of the General Provident Fund (GPF) passbook Account no. RVU-50984 of the petitioner and after verification deposit the General Provident Fund (GPF) amount of Rs. 1,43,506 in the GPF account of the petitioner no. RVU-50984, in the interest of justice...." 3. For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 28.05.2025. At present, learned counsel for petitioner restricts her prayer for a final decision with regard to same. 4. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party no.2 i.e. Consolidation Commissioner U.P. Lucknow or any other competent authority is directed to consider and decide representation dated 28.05.2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of representation date 28.05.2025 alongwith certified copy of this order. 5. With aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
