Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "I. issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party to consider and promote the petitioner in grade pay Rs.10,000/- by giving effect to the recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee (D.P.C.) w.e.f. the date next juniors to the petitioner have been promoted i.e. 29.04.2025 with all consequential service benefits, in the interest of justice." 3. Since considering petitioners' grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before opposite party i.e. Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of U.P., Lucknow who shall consider and decide the same within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority along with fresh representation. 4. With aforesaid observations and directions, the petition is finally disposed of.
