Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2023 for the offences registered under Sections 302, 201, 504, 506, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj.

On 22.06.2023, dead body of the nephew of the informant was recovered from a place near NH-75 at Satbarwa. It is alleged that the petitioner was having illicit relationship with the wife of the deceased. The petitioner and wife of the deceased had threatened the deceased of dire consequence and subsequently the deceased was murdered.

It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material available on record. It was further submitted that co-accused Priyanka Devi has been granted bail vide B.A. No. 1222 of 2024.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 70 of 2023.
