The Court made the following; A 2 ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.39 of 2019, dated 24.06.2019 on the file of Nimmanapalle Police Station, Chittoor District against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506 read with 34 of IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.N.Venkatesh Reddy, learned counsel representing Mr.ChetIuru Sreenivas, learned counsel for the petitioners stated that the matter has been compromised between the parties and they are residing together. Learned Public Prosecutor has also furnished a copy of the instructions of the Station House Officer, Nimmanapalle Police Station, Annamayya District, wherein it is stated that both parties have compromised before Lok Adalat bench of II A.J.M.F.C. Madanapalli and the petitioners were acquitted under Section 320(8) Cr.P.C. in C.C.No.127 of 2020, dated 12.02.2020. 3. 4. In view of the above, no further cause survives in this petition. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, in this petition shall stand closed.
