Petitioner served as Prayavaran Mitra in Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital, who retired on 31.01.2023. Grievance raised by petitioner, in this writ petition is that her retiral dues, including arrears of pension and gratuity have not been released. 3. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Bisht, learned counsel appearing for Nagar Palika Parishad concedes that Nagar Palika Parishad admits that certain dues are payable to the petitioner and the amount payable to petitioner has also been sanctioned by Commissioner, Kumaon Division vide order dated 15.07.2023; however, due to paucity of funds, payment could not be made to the petitioner. He assures the Court that gratuity would be paid to petitioner within two months and leave encashment and other dues would be paid within five months. 4. The writ petition is disposed of by taking the statement made by counsel for Nagar Palika 2025:UHC:9642 Parishad on record. 5. The request for additional funds, if made by Nagar Palika Parishad shall be considered favourably by State Government within four weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
