Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:41102 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 7434 of 2025 Petitioner :- Dr. Ranjitkumar Namdeo Patil Respondent :- Chancellor The King Georges Medical University Lko. And 6 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Hari Prasad Gupta,Durgesh Kumar Verma Counsel for Respondent :- Kumar Ayush,C.S.C.,Shubham Tripathi Hon'ble Abdul Moin,J. 1. Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State, Shri Mohd Ifran holding brief of Shri Kumar Ayush, learned counsel for respondent No.1 and Shri Shubham Tripathi, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3 to 5. No notice is being issued to the respondents No.6 & 7 taking into consideration the nature of order proposed to be passed. 3. Under challenge is the order dated 16.06.2025, a copy of which is Annexure-1 to the petition, whereby the Vice Chancellor of the University had appointed a 3 members facts finding enquiry committee. Further prayer is for a direction commanding the fact finding committee to not proceed further and permit the petitioner to work and perform duties without any fear. 4. The only argument as has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no provisions under the Statutes governing the University for formation of a fact finding committee. 5. On the other hand, Shri Shubham Tripathi, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3 to 5 argues that there is no bar under the statutes for formation of the fact finding committee which has only been constituted to look into the complaints that have been submitted by the petitioner and respondent No.6 and in case any credence is found in the said complaint then further course of action would be taken. 6. Considering the admitted fact that there is no bar under the Statute for formation of fact finding committee which obviously in case anything is found would lead further orders being passed consequently this Court does not find any error in formation of fact finding committee. 7. However, it is expected that the respondent-University would take the fact finding committee to its logical end. 8. The writ petition stands disposed of.
