A notice has been pasted on the premises of the petitioner which is not in his name and based on the said notice, house of the petitioner is sought to be demolished. On being confronted, learned Counsel for the Lucknow Development Authority submitted that the notice will be withdrawn within three days and fresh notice will be given to the petitioner, if there is a cause. In view of the statement aforesaid, we, instead of leaving the petitioner to the mercy of the opposite parties, quash the notice with liberty to the opposite parties to proceed afresh against the petitioner, if there is a cause, but only as per law. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
