This application has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the petitioner, who is facing trial in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 141/2024 pending in the court of the learned Special Judge (POCS), Morigaon. It is an admitted fact that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined by the trial court. That means the case is now at the stage of disposal. This court is of the opinion that allowing the petitioner to go on bail at this stage might hamper the disposal of the case by the trial court.
