Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority for consideration of petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in terms of Uttar Pradesh of Dependents of Government Servants Dying-in-Harness Rules, 1974. 3. It has been submitted that petitioner's father late Ravindra Kumar Singh passed away in service on 14.06.2022 whereafter petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment on 04.08.2022, which is still pending consideration. 4. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into merits of the case, opposite party no.2 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Raebareli U.P. is directed to decide petitioner's application expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of the application dated 04.08.2022 alongwith a copy of this order. 5. With aforesaid directions, petition stands disposed of.
