By the present petition, the petitioner is seeking payment of compensation amounting to Rs.69,70,560/- as per the award dated 6-1-2016. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the compensation amount of Rs.69,70,560/- has already been received by the petitioner, however, interest has not been granted and hence liberty may be granted to approach the appropriate forum to claim interest. 3. In view of foregoing, the writ petition is disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to claim interest on the amount of compensation, if so advised.
