JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 30.07.2025 1. Heard Ms. M. Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Boruah, learned counsel for the sole respondent. 2. This application has been filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, praying for transfer of Title Suit (Divorce) No.38/2024, pending in the Court of the District and Sessions Judge, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur to an appropriate Court at Guwahati. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the petitioner has already filed a case seeking maintenance at Guwahti, the number of the Case is F.C. (Crl.) No.373/2024, pending in the Court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Kamrup(Metro) at Guwahati. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that he has no objection if the Title Suit (Divorce) No.38/2024 is transfer to Guwahati and both the Title Suit and the maintenance proceeding taken up together. 5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both sides. 6. It is hereby directed that the Title Suit (Divorce) No.38/2024, pending in the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur shall be transfer to the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court Kamrup(Metro) at Guwahati, after Page No.# 3/3 transfer, the Title Suit as well as the maintenance proceedings shall be taken up together. 7.
