The prayer of the petitioner is in effect seeking quashment of election of respondent Nos.4 and 5 as a President and a District Representative for Hosadurga Taluk Pradesha Krishika Samaja. The elections are over. It is for the petitioner to avail of such remedy, as is available in law, by filing an Election Petition. The petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India would not be maintainable once the calendar of events are issued or the elections are over.
