The petitioner, a trust, wants to organize certain religious functions/gatherings and in that context a permission has been sought from opposite party No.2-District Magistrate, Amethi. Learned Standing Counsel for the State has some instructions about there being adverse reports regarding the activities of the petitioner-trust and an FIR being lodged. 3. Be that as it may, if an application has been filed before opposite party No.2 and it is otherwise maintainable and is pending then the opposite party No.2 should take whatever decision he has to take but with expedition say within a period of six weeks. 4.
