(Oral) The challenge in this appeal is made to the judgment and order dated 30.11.2019 passed in Original Suit No.219 of 2017, Kuldeep Panwar Vs. Smt. Seema Panwar, by the court of Judge, Family Court, Dehradun. By the impugned judgment, a petition seeking divorce by the appellant under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has been dismissed. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the file. 3. Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties have already amicably settled the dispute on 13.09.2025 in the National Lok Adalat, terms whereof have also been reduced into writing and signed by both the parties. 4. In fact, the case record reveals that in the National Lok Adalat, both the parties have arrived at a settlement and their terms have already been reduced into writing, which has been signed by learned counsel for the parties also. 2 2025:UHC:8715-DB 5. Earlier, when the matter was taken up, the Court requested the learned counsel for the parties to request the parties to join the proceedings through V.C. so that the compromise that has been arrived at between the parties in the National Lok Adalat could be verified. Now, at 2:30 pm, when the matter is taken up, the appellant and the respondent joined the proceedings through V. C. and both of them have been identified by their respective counsel. They have accepted and verified the compromise that has been recorded in the National Lok Adalat. 6. Since the parties have amicably settled the dispute, the appeal is decided in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties. The compromise, which was recorded in the National Lok Adalat, shall form part of the order. (Alok Mahra, J.)
