ORDER This Writ Petition is filed to quash the directing the Respondents to forthwith take necessary steps to clear and remove all obstructive thorns, bushes, and Seemai Karuvelam trees from the Government poramboke lands bearing Survey Nos. 610/6 and 610/7 situated at A.Kalathupatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, thereby ensuring free and unhindered access to the temple for the benefit of the devotees within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the disputed pathway leads to the temple. Therefore, it is hindering devotees from reaching the temple. Since it is a pathway, the petitioner may undertake 'csthu gzp' and remove the said obstructions.
3. Accordingly, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner’s representation and grant permission to carry out 'csthu gzp' and remove all obstructive thorns, bushes, Seemai Karuvelam trees, etc. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
