26.11.2025. The case set out by the petitioner is that he was allotted a work contract vide allotment order No. PHE/GWD/7173-78 dated 11.03.2019 (annexure-1). He completed the allotted work within timeline, to the satisfaction of respondents. He raised bills for payment, those were duly verified in terms of official correspondence dated 10.08.2020, inter-se respondents. Respondent No. 4 made some intermittent payment and thereafter stopped payment of balance amount. Mr. F. A. Wani, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner submits that it shall be suffice, if respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner and release the balance payment within a timeframe. Statement of learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record. In view of the above, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the present writ petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and accord consideration to the same, as per law, within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order, along with copy of writ petition and annexures are made available.
Disposed of along with connected CM(s).
