Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to consider and decide petitioner's appeal dated 24.04.2025 expeditiously. 3. It has been submitted that petitioner had applied for recruitment on the post of Constable in U.P. Police but has been rejected in the Medical Examination due to defect in eye vision. In view of aforesaid, petitioner had filed appeal dated 24.04.2025 which is still pending consideration. 4. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, however opposite party No.4 i.e. Chief Medical Officer, Lucknow or any other competent authority is directed to consider and decide petitioner's appeal within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority. 5.
