GP FOR GENERAL ADMINISTRATION The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... 1) to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in not paying appropriate amount of compensation for the loss of her husband in the road accident on 25.09.2021 2)to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in not completing the investigation in Cr. No. 941/2021 of Tadepalli Police Station, Tadepalli, Guntur District, by identifying the vehicle and nabbing the culprit that caused death of her husband in the road accident on 25.09.2021 as illegal, arbitrary etc., and grant such other just and consequential relief.” 2. Sri V.V.L.N.Sarma, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the husband of the Petitioner died on 25.09.2021 in a road accident as he was hit by an unidentified vehicle. Learned counsel would further submit that, based on the complaint given by the Petitioner, a case in Crime No.941 of 2021 on the file of Tadepalli Police Station for the offence under Section 304- A IPC has been registered. It is further submitted that, subsequently, inspite of several representations made by the Petitioner, there is no progress in the investigation. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter, would submit that the Police conducted investigation and no reliable information either oral or documentary in respect of the crime vehicle is available. 3 4. Having heard the submissions on both sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the concerned Police to look into the points raised by the Petitioner during the course of investigation in Crime No.941 of 2021 on the file of Tadepalli Police Station, conclude the investigation and file a report in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
