By said order, petitioners claim for compensation for their land which was allegedly acquired for construction of a hospital was rejected. Petitioners have challenged the order passed by District Magistrate on various grounds. 3. Learned State Counsel is right in submitting that disputed questions of fact, especially those involving title, cannot be decided in a writ petition. 4. Petitioners can get compensation only when they are able to prove that they had any right, title or interest over the land on which the hospital was allegedly constructed in 1956. 5. Thus, this Court declines to interfere with the impugned order dated 07.06.2022; however, liberty is reserved to petitioners to approach the competent Court of law, Civil or Revenue for adjudication of their right, title or interest. 2025:UHC:10940 6.
