There is a remedy of appeal against the cancellation of income certificate under Section 6 of the U.P. Janhit Guarantee Act, 2011. The Division Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No. 8288 (M/B) of 2016 vide order dated 20.04.2016 has already heard cancellation of a certificate and rejection of an application for issuance of a certificate amounts to the same, therefore, an appeal would lie even in the case of cancellation of the certificate, as is the case here. Although it was a case of domicile certificate but the above analogy, in principle, would apply in this case also, therefore, the petitioner may avail the aforesaid remedy. 3.
