With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 2. The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief: - “i. That the respondents may kindly be directed to grant work charge status to the petitioner as Cook from the day, the petitioner has completed 7 years of continuous service on daily wage service i.e. w.e.f. 01- 01-2014 in view of the law lay down by this Hon'ble Court in LPA No. 165 of 2021, titled as State of HP and 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - others Versus Surajmani and another, decided on 12- 01-2023 along with connected matters and in CWP NO. 3111/2016 titled as "State of HP and Ors. Versus Ashwani Kumar dated 10-05-2018 with all consequential benefits.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case of the petitioner and the relief prayed for by her have already been considered & adjudicated upon by this Court in State of H.P. and others Versus Surajmani and another2. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that a representation preferred by the petitioner on 01.05.2024 (Annexure P-5) for claiming the above reliefs is pending consideration with respondent No.2. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 01.05.2024 2 LPA No.165 of 2021 decided alongwith connected matters on 12.01.2023 - 3 - (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration the above judgment in the case of Surajmani, supra, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
