Notice. Mr. Y.P.S. Dhaulta, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“i) That a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the action of the Respondents whereby the date of increment of the Petitioner has been changed from the 01 October of every year to 01st September of every year. ii) Writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to grant the annual increments w.e.f. 01.10.2006, after taking into consideration the services rendered prior to taking over and consequently the Respondents may also be directed to revise and re-fix the pay of the Petitioner

after taking into consideration the services w.e.f.
01.10.2005. iii) That the Respondents may be directed to release all consequential benefits such as arrears etc. in favour of the Petitioners along with interest @ 9% p.a.”

It is seen from the record that the petitioner has preferred a representation regarding correction of date of his annual increment to the respondents on 16.03.2025 (Annexure P-7). Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid representation has not been decided by the respondents till date.

Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 16.03.2025 (Annexure P-7) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
