Also heard Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This application has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, in respect of Kajalgaon P. S. Case No.78/2025, whereby the petitioner Samarjit Basumatary @ Samar Basumatary has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in this case. Page No.# 2/2 3. One Student Association Official lodge an Ejahar before Police alleging that in an Unisex parlour some sort of prostitution was going on. The present petitioner was arrested from inside the said beauty parlour along with condoms. 4. The petitioner has been in custody for last 36 days. 5. This Court if of the opinion that under the given circumstances considering the period of detention already undergone by the petitioner in custody, he does not deserve to be in custody for any further period of time. 6. The bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 7. The petitioner, Samarjit Basumatary @ Samar Basumatary, who was arrested in connection with Kajalgaon P. S. Case No.78/2025 shall be released on bail of Rs.20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chirang, Kajalgaon. 8.
