(2025:JHHC:19766) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 5497 of 2025 Jagat Sahu @ Jagat Kumar @ Lucky, aged about 32 years, son of Satyaprakash Lal, resident of Krishnapuri Power House Chowk, Chutia, P.O. + P.S. Chutia, District- Ranchi, Jharkhand. … Petitioner - Versus - The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Birendra Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Santosh Kr. Shukla, A.P.P. --- 02/18.07.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No.50 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 386/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.2263 of 2025 by order dated 21.03.2025. On 14.04.2024, Ormanjhi Police apprehended co-accused Allauddin Ansari and on search, a loaded country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Allauddin Ansari spelt out the name of the petitioner that both of them were a member of Aman Sahu gang. He also stated that petitioner and co-accused persons were also involved in sale and purchase of firearms. It appears that petitioner is an accused in as many as eight cases. Petitioner is involved in the organized crime. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage. Petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after four months. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
