Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "(i). Issue an order or direction to set aside the impugned order dated 21.05.2025 passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sultanpur in Appeal No. 13 of 2024 preferred by the petitioner under Section 160 of U.P. Municipalities Act, 1916 relating to House No. 40 Ward No. 8 situated in Town Area Amethi, Pargana, Tehsil & District Amethi, by which the Appellate Court has declined to grant interim order." 3. Considering the fact that admittedly the appeal is pending under Section 160 of U.P. Municipalities Act, 1916, against the order dated 28.09.2024, the present petition is disposed of with direction to decide the pending appeal expeditiously. Till the disposal of the appeal, the parties shall maintain status quo with regard to title and possession.
