By the impugned award the learned Tribunal has awarded Rs. 77,101/- in favour of the appellant/claimant as HIFZURRAHMAN ANSARI Digitally signed by HIFZURRAHMAN ANSARI Date: 2025.08.29 17:55:45 +0530 2 compensation on account of grievous injuries received by him which took place on 29.05.2017 by the rash and negligent driving of respondent no. 1/driver of the offending vehicle i.e. Wagon-R bearing registration no. C.G.07-AU-2264. 2) Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the amount awarded by learned tribunal is on the lower side which may be suitable enhanced. 3) Learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 supports the award and submits that just compensation has been awarded. 4) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5) On perusal of record & evidence available, this Court deems it fit to award further sum of Rs. 25,000/- to make the compensation just. 6) Respondent No. 3 is directed to deposit an additional sum of Rs. 25,000/- within a period of 60 days from today, otherwise it will be liable to pay interest of @6% from the date of this order. 7) Appeal thus allowed in part.
