JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE O R D E R 13-10-2025 The short grievance projected by the petitioner in the instant petition is that despite working as Lumberdar of village Khalhar, tehsil Kokernag, district Anantnag, the respondents are not paying him the honorarium thereof. In support of his claim the petitioner has placed on record a certificate issued by Naib Tehsildar, Sagam dated 29.3.2025 to suggest that the petitioner is continuously working as Lumberdar of the village and is discharging his duties satisfactorily. Having regard to the aforesaid claim of the petitioner, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the petition at this stage without inviting returns from the respondents. Accordingly, the petition is disposed with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for payment of honorarium for working as Lumberdar of village Khalhar, tehsil Kokernag, district Anantnag, provided there is no legal impediment thereto. The consideration be accorded within a period of four weeks from the date copy of this order is produced by the petitioner before the respondents. Disposed of.
