The petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Lawalong P.S. Case No.13 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 18/27(a)/28/29/30 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985 and Section 33 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, pending in the Court of learned Principal District Judge, Chatra, have prayed for grant of anticipatory bail. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case and have not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. They were not at all involved in illegal cultivation of poppy plants. They have been roped in the present case merely on the basis of alleged confession of apprehended co-accused Golu Ganjhu. The land on which cultivation of poppy plants was allegedly found does not belong to the petitioners. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph no.12 of the present antsicipatory bail application. They, however, undertake to 2025:JHHC:14296 2 co-operate in the ongoing investigation. Hence, they may be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. 3. Learned Spl. P.P. opposes the petitioners’ prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. 5. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within three weeks from today, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District Judge, Chatra in connection with Lawalong P.S. Case No.13 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Rajesh Shankar, J.) Arpit/
