The petitioner claims to have purchased a property from the Punjab National Bank i.e. opposite party No.1 and 2 in an auction, however, according to him, the land which was proposed for auction with the area mentioned in the advertisement was found to be less at the spot, hence, this petition seeking refund of Rs.2,04,031.36/- plus 18% interest from the date of payment till date of refund of the deposited amount because of delivering lesser area of house instead of the one mentioned in the sale notice. These are not matters to be seen under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner may avail appropriate remedies as may be prescribed before the Civil Court or otherwise. 3.
