Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for the opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to consider petitioner's case for promotion to the post of Head Constable from the date his contemporaries of Batch 1997 of Constables of PAC have been promoted. Further prayer for such promotion to take effect from the date his juniors have been promoted have also been sought. 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner is fully qualified and eligible for such promotion particularly since various posts of Head Constable are still lying vacant. 4. For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation to the authority concerned but seeks liberty to file a fresh representation. 5. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner, and without entering into merits of the case, petitioner is granted liberty to move a fresh representation before respondent no. 2 i.e., Deputy Inspector General, Central Zone, P.A.C., Mahanagar, Lucknow, who shall consider and decided the same expeditiously within a period of eight weeks in accordance with law from the date a certified copy of this order is served upon him or any other competent authority. 6.
