Considering the issuance of notice to opposite party No. 6 is hereby dispensed with. The petitioner seeks cancellation of the domicile-certificate dated 17.09.2024 issued by opposite party No. 3 in favour of opposite party Nos. 5 and 6 on the ground that they are not residents of the said area, whereas Sri Raj Karan Singh, Advocate, appearing for opposite party Nos. 5 and 6 says his clients have land and house in the village pertaining to which domicile-certificate has been issued and the petition has been filed only on account of participation of the opposite party No. 5 and the petitioner in an auction for settlement of fishery rights in the said village. Be that as it may, if any application for cancellation of domicile-certificate issued on the basis of manipulation, has been filed alongwith proof, say Annexure-9, then the officer, who has issued the domicile-certificate can get the facts verified, if there is a cause, and do the needful, but only after hearing the opposite parties, unless of course there is any legal impediment.
