On the last two consecutive dates of hearing, there has been no appearance for the petitioners. Today also when the case was called, nobody turned up to cause appearance for the petitioners. It seems that the petitioners have lost interest to pursue this petition. 2. This petition was taken up for consideration on 5th January, 2025, when this Court while issuing notice to the respondents directed the official respondents no to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners, with a further direction to provide them protection in case they approach them for such assistance. This direction has subsisted since 15th January, 2025. The relief which is finally claimed by the petitioners has been already granted at the interim stage. No useful purpose would, thus, be served by keeping this petition on board. 3. This petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to provide protection to the life and liberty of petitioners provided that they formally approach the respondents with such grievance. 4.
