Raghunandan Rao) The writ petitioner herein, who was working as Process Server in the Court of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Prohibition and Excise), Srikakulam, had filed an administrative appeal before the 1st respondent on 25.03.2023 against the orders of the 2nd respondent dated 31.01.2023 wherein a major penalty of removal from service had been passed against the petitioner. 2. The petitioner has now approached this Court with the contention that there has been inordinate delay in the disposal of the said appeal by the 1st respondent and the same is prejudicial and harming the interest of the petitioner. 3. In view of the fact that the appeal has been pending for the last two years, it would be appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner filed on 25.03.2023 against the orders of the 2nd respondent dated 31.01.2023 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
