JUSTICE A.GUNESHWAR SHARMA 14.7.2025 Present Mr.W.Darakishwor, learned Sr.PCCG for the FCI and Mr.S.Gunabanta, learned counsel for the respondents. The FCI filed MC (WP (C)) Nos.497/2025, 495/2025and 496 of 2025 are filed for extension of validity of Bank Guaranty submitted by the petitioner herein and the same is going to expire on 23.7.2025. The Bank Guarantee submitted by the petitioners in the contract work is under challenge. It is submitted that if the Bank Guarantees are not extended it will cause heavy loss to the FCI as well as to the petitioners and will affect the merit of the case and in the circumstance it is submitted that the Bank Guarantees maybe extended for another period of six months or till disposal of the case. Mr.S.Gunabanta, learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to take necessary steps for extension of the Bank Guarantees to the concerned Bank before expiry of the same. Petitioner is permitted to submit a copy of the extended Bank Guarantee to the Court and furnish copy to the FCI also. MC (WP(C)) No.497 of 2025, MC (WP(C)) No.495 of 2025 and MC (WP(C)) No.496 of 2025 stand disposed of. List the matter on 25.7.2025. JUDGE Priyojit
