Sarma, learned counsel for the applicants, who submits that the applicants are arrayed as private respondent Nos.17 to 20 in WP(C) Page No.# 3/3 No.7001/2024 and by filing this application they seek for a similar protection as was passed by this Court in I.A. (Civil) No.1880/2025 on 17.06.2025. Referring to the order dated 17.06.2025, learned counsel for the applicants submits that this Court, upon considering the submissions made by the rival parties, was of the view that some protection should be given to the applicants pending final disposal of the writ petition and accordingly the applicants were given liberty to participate in the selection process pursuant to the notice dated 31.05.2025, however, without prejudice to their rights to participate for the entire 17(seventeen) posts of Grade-IV. Further, it was also provided that their service should not be disturbed pending final decision to be taken in the connected writ petition. The learned counsel for the applicants submits that the instant applicants also seek for a similar order. In view of the above, it is hereby directed that pending disposal of the main writ petition, i.e. WP(C) No.7001/2024, the applicants are given liberty to participate in the selection process pursuant to the notice dated 19.06.2025 for 6(six) Grade-IV posts without prejudice to their rights to participate for the entire 17(seventeen) posts of Grade-IV. Pending final disposal of the writ petition, it is provided that their services should not be disturbed. With the above observation and direction, the interlocutory application stands disposed of.
