Through the medium of the instant application supported with the affidavit, the applicants/petitioners seek the withdrawal of the main petition bearing No. OWP 227/2004, with liberty to file a fresh one if need arises, on the grounds inter alia that the non-applicants/respondents have assured them that their grievances will be redressed in case they withdraw the main petition, and that they have accordingly executed affidavits individually, indicating their unequivocal consent to withdraw the main petition. The statement of the appearing counsel for the applicants/petitioners, Mr. Mian Tufail, Advocate, is taken on record. 2. The learned counsel for the private respondent No. 4, Mr. Z. A. Qureshi, Senior Advocate, has no objections in allowing the withdrawal application. 3. The appearance of learned Senior AAG, was awaited during the entire pre-lunch session, but he did not appear in respect of the matter. 4. The instant application is allowed and, as a consequence, the main petition OWP No. 227/2004 is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought for.
