Petitioner was transferred as Lecturer (Economics) from Government Inter College, Barheni, Block Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar to Government Inter College, Nevalgaon, Salt, Almora, vide order dated 26.02.2023. Petitioner had joined duty at the transferred place on 07.07.2024. 4. In this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to transfer the services of the petitioner at Government Inter College Barheni, Block Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar by rightly counting the service rendered by the petitioner in the Durgam area. 5. The relief, as prayed, cannot be granted. This Court cannot direct the Competent Authority to post the petitioner at a particular school. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation regarding his posting, however, he submits that petitioner be permitted to make fresh representation to the Competent Authority. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, 2025:UHC:10692 disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make fresh representation to the Competent Authority, within two weeks from today. If petitioner makes representation within stipulated time, the same shall be decided by the Competent Authority, as per law, within six weeks thereafter.
