[2] The present Contempt Petition has been filed under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for drawing up contempt proceeding against the respondent- contemnors for disobedience and disregard of the specific direction of this Court dated 05.04.2024 passed in WP (C) No. 780 of 2023. [3] It is submitted at the bar that in compliance of the order dated 05.04.2024 passed in WP (C) No. 780 of 2023, a subsequent proceeding dated 11.02.2025 has been issued by the District Magistrate & Collector, Unakoti District, Kailashahar. In view of this subsequent proceeding dated 11.02.2025, this instant Contempt Petition is closed. Accordingly, the personal appearance of the concerned District Magistrate & Collector has been dispensed with.
