The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 27/01/2025 passed by this Court in REVP No.10/2025 which was disposed of with a direction to the SDO (Revenue) to decide the appeal pending before him within a period of four weeks in accordance with law. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the concerned SDO has heard the matter finally and the case is fixed for orders and the orders may be passed within a period of one week from today. He would therefore submit that in view of his submission the instant contempt petition may be disposed of. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. Perusal of the documents would show that earlier the petitioner had filed a writ petition bearing WPC No.6420 of 2024 which was dismissed on account of availability of alternative remedy and the petitioner was directed to approach before the appropriate authority under the CGLRC to question the impugned order therein. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a review petition bearing REVP No.10 of 2025 for seeking a direction towards the SDO to decide the pending appeal and the said review petition was disposed of by observing as under:- 5. As the petitioner has already approached before the SDO (Revenue) by filing an appeal questioning the order dated 29/10/2024 passed by the Tahsildar, the concerned SDO is directed to decide the appeal pending before him within a period of four weeks in accordance with law. 6. Since the undertaking has been given by the learned counsel for the respondent that the order of this Court may be complied with within a period of one week and the final orders will be passed in the appeal preferred by the petitioner, the instant contempt petition is disposed of 3 / 3 with an expectation that the order passed by this Court will be complied with as per the undertaking given by the learned counsel for the respondent. 7.
