GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents 2 to 4 in opening a rowdy sheet no.07/1995 dated 16.06.1995 against the Petitioner is arbitrary illegal without jurisdiction and consequentially direct the Respondents 2 and 4 to close the said rowdy sheet which was opened against the Petitioner” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated 2 that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of and the impugned Rowdy Sheet No.07 of 1995 dated 16.06.1995 on the file of Chejarla Police Station, SPSR Nellore District, against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
