To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent District Magistrate, Deoria, to decide the petitioners' representation dated 06.12.2024 in accordance with law within such period of time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to stipulate, during pendency of the instant writ petition." The representation has been made complaining against the attempt of the Nagar Palika Parishad, Deoria to shift the meat shop of the petitioners from the land reserved for slaughterhouse to some other place under a tin shed. The representation is still pending and the records annexed with the writ petition disclose that the District Magistrate had sought a report from the Executive Officer of the Nagar Palika Parishad which was submitted on 5.11.2024. However, the representation of the petitioners has not yet been decided. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate to take appropriate decision on the representation dated 6.12.2024 filed by the petitioners within one month from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
