By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities for consideration of his case of promotion with effect from 19/06/2020 for the post of Joint Director and to consider his representation dated 12/09/2024. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the case of the petitioner has been considered by the DPC on 19/06/2020, but due to some adverse remarks, the case of the petitioner has not been considered properly and as per his information, the review DPC has already been convened on 24/01/2025, hence, the petitioner is seeking a limited relief from this Court to direct the respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 12/09/2024 Annexure P-1 which has been filed by the petitioner before him, as the meeting of the review DPC has already been convened on 24/01/2025. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that as the petitioner is seeking a limited relief of decision on the representation submitted by him to the respondent No.1 on 12/09/2024, the respondent No.1 shall decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law by giving effect to the decision if any made by the review DPC on 24/01/2025. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings. 5. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending representation dated 12/09/2024 of 3 / 3 the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of forty days. 6.
