Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:37229 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 6986 of 2025 Petitioner :- Hritik Prajapati Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Its Prin. Secy. Home Deptt. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Savita Jain,Nikita Mishra Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Manish Mathur,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for the opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed challenging the medical opinion dated 29.04.2025 as well as 19.05.2025 with further prayer for a direction to opposite parties to re-examine the medical fitness of petitioner for the post of Constable in U.P. Police. 3. Learned State Counsel on the basis of written instructions dated 27.05.2025, copy of which has been taken on record, submits that the petitioner was found medically unfit on the ground of flat-feet with such opinion being upheld by the Medical Board. 4. In rebuttal, learned counsel for petitioner has adverted to fitness certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer Unnao dated 28.05.2025 and has submitted that since there is contradiction in the opinion pertaining to fitness certificate, his representation with regard to the same maybe considered. 5. Upon consideration of submissions advanced by learned counsel for parties and perusal of material available on record, it appears that the medical certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer, Unnao is only with regard to the general fitness whereas the petitioner has been found unfit for post of Constable in U.P. Police on the ground of flat-feet. In such circumstances, the specialist medical opinion for appointment as Constable in U.P. Police would have greater bearing than a certificate of general fitness issued by Chief Medical Officer. 6. In view thereof, this Court does not find any good ground to interfere in the impugned order. Accordingly, petition fails and is dismissed at the admission stage itself.
