The application of the petitioner for issuance of character certificate has been rejected as per the information uploaded on the official portal on the ground that SP/SSP has rejected the same due to pendency of criminal case bearing Case Crime No.212 of 2017, under Sections 147, 148, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(X) of S.C./S.T. Act, Police Station Sangipur, District Pratapgarh, however, these issues have already been considered by us in a detailed judgment dated 28.05.2025 passed in a bunch of writ petitions, wherein leading writ petition is Writ C No.718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar Vs. State of U.P. and 3 Others), wherein an earlier order dated 26.05.2025 has also been quoted. For the reasons already mentioned in the said judgment, as they apply in this case also, we set aside the impugned rejection. The opposite party no. 3 shall now consider issuance of certificate in the light of what has been observed and held by us in the aforesaid judgment i.e. on the format and terms mentioned therein and issue the same accordingly. For reasons already given in the aforesaid judgment, this writ petition is disposed of on the same terms.
