Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of the First Information Report dated 20.06.2025, Case Crime No. 469 of 2025, under Sections 87 of B.N.S., Police Station Akbarpur, District Ambedkar Nagar. 3. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that both the petitioners, petitioner No. 1 and 2 are major and have solemnized marriage out of their own free will, the certificate of age is on record. They have also applied for registration of their marriage. 4. Considering the said submission, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending, as such, F.I.R.in question i.e.F.I.R. dated 20.06.2025, Case Crime No. 469 of 2025, under Sections 87 of B.N.S., Police Station Akbarpur, District Ambedkar Nagar is quashed. 5.
