The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following main relief:
“to issue a Writ or Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of the first respondent in issuing the notice in Rc.No.B2/ 1891/2016, dt.14.06.2016 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the Rule 43 of the Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.888 Revenue (Endowments-I) Department, dt.08.12.2000 and contrary to Act 4/2014 which is published in Government Gazette on 27.06.2014 and set-aside the same and consequentially direct the respondents to continue the petitioner in service till he completes the age of 60 years with all benefits and pass …..”

The sum and substance in the present lis is that the petitioner is seeking extension of his services till he attains the age of 60 years in the respondents devasthanam. 3. When the matter came up for hearing, Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel representing Sri P.V.S.S.S.Rama Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of subsequent events in the lis, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
