The present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of the FIR dated 18.06.2025 bearing FIR/Case Crime No.0273 of 2025 under section 87 BNS, P.S. Kotwali Dehat, District Gonda. 3. The contention of the counsel for the petitioners is that both the petitioners are major and have married. The certificate of Arya Samaj Mandir is on record. 4. Considering the fact that both the petitioners are major and have married out of their own free will, no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings initiated through the impugned FIR, as such, the impugned FIR being FIR/Case Crime No.0273 of 2025 under section 87 BNS, P.S. Kotwali Dehat, District Gonda is quashed. 5. The writ petition is allowed.
