The present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of the FIR dated 18.06.2025 bearing FIR/Case Crime No.0102 of 2025 under section 137(2), 87, 352 and 351(2) BNS, P.S. Nawabganj, District Bahraich. 3. The contention of the counsel for the petitioners is that both the petitioners are major and have married. The Nikahnama is on record as Annexure no.2 to this writ petition. 4. Considering the fact that both the petitioners are major and have married out of their own free will, no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings initiated through the impugned FIR, as such, the impugned FIR being FIR/Case Crime No.0102 of 2025 under section 137(2), 87, 352 and 351(2) BNS, P.S. Nawabganj, District Bahraich. is quashed. 5. The writ petition is allowed.
